Several delegations of international visitors will be visiting us in the coming weeks. Here is some of what’s coming up – and please note that we still have opportunities for liaising and home hospitality available, as noted in the program description.

20th – 25th: Korean National Assembly
A group of Korean University students are coming for an exchange in Albuquerque as part of a collaboration between the US Congress and Korean National Assembly.
24th – 30th: STEM
A group from Canada will be in Albuquerque to learn about programs that provide STEM education to underserved communities, focusing on inclusive, practical ways to combine science and culture.
We still have an opportunity for a local liaison with this program on July 25th and 26th (8-5). We also need 1 person/family to provide home hospitality for this English speaking group on July 27th.
3rd – 8th: U.S. Judicial System: Protecting Women and Children
This multi-regional group will be in Albuquerque to discuss the rule of law and the U.S. judicial system, focusing on the legal structures in place to protect women and children, and to create linkages among legal professionals working to promote international cooperation in strengthening access to justice for women and children.
We still have an opportunity for a local liaison with this program on August 5th and 5th (8-5). We also need 1-2 people to provide home hospitality for this English speaking group on August 7.
22nd – 27th: Water Data-Cooperation in the Lower Mekong
This multi-national group from South East Asia will be in Albuquerque to discuss water resource management models and assess the effects of population growth, climate change, and political decisions on local water resources.
We still have an opportunity for a local liaison with this program on August 23rd and 26th (8-5). We also need 2-3 people/families to provide home hospitality for this English speaking group on August 24th.
