Welcome to Global Ties ABQ!
Global Ties ABQ is Central New Mexico’s link to the international community. Each year, we host more than 350 international visitors in Albuquerque through U.S. State Department Citizen Diplomacy programs. We connect our visitors, who come to build professional skills, exchange ideas, and form partnerships, to our local community through meetings, dinners, and community conversations. Knowing the value of international experience, Global Ties ABQ is organizing a series of outbound programs for local emerging leaders to increase their knowledge and ties to the global community.
We are a membership organization and, if you haven’t already, we invite you to join. To sign up, click here or read more in the box below.
Global Ties ABQ members will receive a 10% discount to Warsaw Phoenix of the East, hosted by the Albuquerque International Association Sunday, October 13 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Albuquerque Museum.

Join our local partner Sister Cities for the annual Albuquerque Oktoberfest on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12.
Global Ties ABQ is proud to introduce the Bill Yarnall International Hospitality Fund – we want you to engage with international visitors, and its on us! We invite you to host dinners for international visitors or take them to one of Albuquerque’s amazing cultural events – the Sandia Tram, an Isotopes or NM United game, a picnic at the zoo, or other activities.
